President and Chief Executive Officer
Carl’s experience in the CPG industry began in 1986 with Nestlé in Northern California. He was recruited in 1988 by Carey, Ahrens & Raynsford, which was Northern California’s largest food brokerage operation. Starting out as a Business Manager he was promoted within the organization to Executive Vice President. In 1995 he joined Impact Sales as an owner, since then he has been focused on forming game-changing partnerships with extraordinary clients. Carl is constantly cultivating a forward-thinking workplace culture as he continues to lead Impact Group’s growth through a future of organic growth & acquisition expansion.
Chief Operating Officer
Tom has an extensive history of success in the CPG industry. Prior to joining Impact Sales LLC, Tom led the Hansen’s Beverage Sales team, which is part of the VEB network of brands owned by Coca-Cola. Tom’s experience includes Procter & Gamble, Frito Lay, and Naked Juice, where he led a turnaround and eventual sale of the company to Pepsi.
Chief Financial Officer
Pat joins us from Harlow-HRK, where he has been Chief Financial Officer since 1996. After graduating from the University of Dayton in 1979, Pat obtained his CPA certificate and worked for what is now public accounting firm Ernst & Young. Pat’s accounting/finance experience also includes work with hospitals, engineering firms, law firms, title agencies, manufacturing companies, equipment distributors, and residential/commercial real estate rental companies.
Executive Vice President Kroger Team
Matt has been with the Kroger Co. since age 16, and in 2001 joined the Grocery department, serving as Category Manager, Sr. Category Manager, Merchandising Manager, Kompass Coordinator, Assortment & Segmentation Coordinator, and Merchandising Solutions Coordinator. He has a vast background in merchandising, technology, customer insights, analytics, process change, space management, assortment, and store operations and was an integral part of the Grocery team as category management became coordinated. In 2013, Matt joined Harlow-HRK as Senior Vice President – Operations, and later became President of Harlow-HRK.
Vice President of Strategy
Todd has always been interested in how things work, from technology systems to economic markets. He is committed to lifelong learning and listens to singer-songwriter music and classic rock. After obtaining his degree in Computer Science from Boise State University, he started his career as an R&D Engineer at Hewlett-Packard in 1997. He joined Impact Sales in 2000 beginning his adventures within the CPG industry. At PinnPointe and Impact Sales, Todd led the technology, development, and analytical teams which created the proprietary PinnSights and IRIS platforms. Wearing his newest hat, Todd now manages the processes and integration of all acquisitions and oversees our Business Intelligence, Data Integrity, and Software Development teams.
Vice President of Marketing
Sandi leads our Marketing department with a vision to assist our associates and clients to ensure we execute effectively within all trade-related shopper card, social media and mega-merchandising events. Sandi has an extensive background in marketing, most recently at Supervalu. She has had success working in various positions over a 17-year career at Albertsons and Supervalu.
Vice President of Corporate Development
Jarrod leads our M&A-related activities and is actively pursuing expansion with a three-tier approach to growth: geographic expansion (offering a national sales solution); new classes of trade (a one-stop solution for clients); and department diversification (representing clients across all critical departments within the channels in which we compete).
Vice President of Client Development
Jeff received his Bachelor of Business Administration from Boise State University and then began his extensive background in the food industry. He managed the Albertsons team for Colgate-Palmolive, where he was a two-time Hall of Fame winner and received the Chairman’s “You Can Make a Difference” award. Jeff joined Impact Sales as Corporate Team Leader in 1997 and has since held a variety of sales and management roles.
Vice President of National Clients
Tim began his career in the CPG industry in 1991, and owned and operated a distributorship in the northwest U.S. He joined Impact Sales in 1999 and relocated to the Boise headquarters in 2001 to spearhead HQ calls at Albertsons Corporate.
Vice President of Human Resources
Glen has worked hard to align hiring practices with new hire onboarding processes. Due to our company’s new size, he has been instrumental in efforts to offer associates robust and improved benefits packages, implementing a benefit management platform and expanding his department to ensure we staff our growing enterprise robustly to meet all our clients’ needs.
